PRIDE Days

Pride Days

Christopher Street West’s PRIDE Days continues PRIDE 365 by making June PRIDE Month, allowing us all to celebrate more than just one weekend. CSW in collaboration with the City of West Hollywood, other partner organizations and many supporters and sponsors present a full calendar of events that highlight our past present and future, educate and entertain, throughout West Hollywood and Los Angeles.

June is recognized as Pride Month by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community worldwide. Events are held in June to commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion in New York City on June 28, 1969, which most historians consider to be the birth of the modern LGBT civil rights movement.

The City of West Hollywood will once again celebrate the depth, breadth and wealth of LGBT arts and culture with its annual festival One City / One Pride throughout June 2011. There are both free and ticketed events featuring theatre, film, music, poetry, spoken word, visual art exhibits and more. Please see the calendar listings below for program, ticketing and reservation information. While there is no charge for free events, we recommend that you reserve a space (if so noted) since seating will be limited at most venues.

Please note that programs, dates and times are subject to change – and new events may be added – so check back for updates and additions to programming occurring throughout West Hollywood and the West Hollywood adjacent area.
