Christopher Street West Board of Directors is governed by an unpaid, volunteer Board of Directors. Board members take on individual responsibility for directing and overseeing the various jobs involved in putting on the parade and festival, assisted by other volunteers and paid consultants and staff. There is also a non-voting Alternate Board, members of which participate in board discussions but vote only in specific situations. Persons who have served on the board at least 4 years but are not presently on the board may be elected as directors emeritus, a lifetime advisory position.
